The library thanks James McDonald of the Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company for providing an informative display for the month of October: Fire Prevention! Learn more about fire hazards and safety at home, at school, while traveling, and during the holidays ~ the importance of smoke detectors ~ fire extinguisher use ~ and how to create a fire evacuation plan. The display case doors will remain unlocked, so patrons can help themselves to the variety of pamphlets, brochures, magnets, and stickers… including a special booklet of kids’ activities. The DVDs on display belong to the library and can be checked out. Be prepared, and stay safe!
