Local Students Make Dean's List At UConn

The University of Connecticut has released its Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester, and students from East Haddam, Haddam, Haddam Neck, Higganum and Moodus have made the cut!

To make the Dean's List, students taking at least 12 credits must earn grades among the top 25 percent of their school or college, the news release says, adding that they cannot make the list if they receive a grade lower than a "C."

Congratulations to the following students:

East Haddam: Michael Bellows, Emily Betts, Brittany Ciullo, Claire Cunningham, Rachael Pelletti, Lane Peterson, Rebekah Ruhe and Kayla Rutland

Haddam: Nicolas Chapman and Portia Kimbis

Haddam Neck: Thomas Harris and Grace Malloy

Higganum: Elliot Bosco, Raymond Cerino, Chelsea Goodwin, Kyle Kelsey, David McDowell, Aaron Palmer and Annie Stupik

Moodus: Jennifer Barney, Allison Olderman, Amanda Smith, Devin Smith and Jeffrey Ventres
