“When I started my consulting practice,” says Jennifer Eifrig of Musevue360 (www.musevue360.com), another client, “the first thing I did was call WhoIsTheOldGuy.”
Who Is the Old Guy, Anyway? The business is named for Shaw’s great-great grandfather Edward Payson Shaw, who appears in the company logo. The elder Mr. Shaw owned his first business at the age of 16, and went on to own many other operations as well, including electric trolley lines in northeastern Massachusetts. He also served as the Massachusetts State Treasurer.
“He’s always been an inspiration to me,” says Stephen Shaw, who has been interested in family genealogy since he was a teenager. “We share the same middle name and the same commitment to customer service.”
