New Dance Classes for Children and Adults Forming Now

The Dance Corner of Killingworth is excited to announce three new classes this winter. These winter mini-mester class sessions are the perfect chance for kids and adults to try a dance class for the first time or rediscover dance without a long commitment.

Experience the joy of dance with the new 6-week Dance Discovery class. Children ages 6-9 will be introduced to the basics of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop in this sampler class designed for beginner dancers. No special shoes or uniform is required for this program. Dance Discovery meets Wednesdays 4:35-5:30pm, 2/15-3/22. There is no registration fee for this class. The tuition is $75 for the session. The class session includes 6 classes for the price of 5. For adults, The Dance Corner is offering a 6-week Tap class, Mondays 2/27- 4/3, 6:35-7:15pm. In order to accommodate busy schedules, The Dance Corner is offering 6 classes for the price of 5. It’s not too late for preschool age children who missed the cut off for fall dance programs to begin dance. The Dance Corner is offering a 5 week Pre-Stars Dance Discovery Ballet and creative movement class for ages 3-4, Fridays 4:30-5:00pm beginning 2/24. The Dance Corner’s Pre-stars dance program introduces children to basic steps and terminology in ballet. Students are encouraged to explore their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. The Dance Corner is offering 5 classes for the price of 4. Tuition for the 2/24- 3/24 class session is $48. No special shoes or uniform is required for this program.
