Petition For Better Cell Service In Haddam Gains Steam

HADDAM, CT — Two petitions have gathered more than 500 signatures in an effort to improve cell service on Route 154.

The area of Route 154 is almost a total dead zone for cell service and in the past it has caused issues in emergency situations, according to the Middletown Press.

A bicyclist was fatally struck by a car while riding form Jailhill Road to Saybrook Road. Witnesses had to go to people's homes to use a landline.
