Riverhouse Developers Hire Consultant
They're hoping Jon Crane, a former television news anchor, will help them explain why they want to swap private land for state-owned property.
The Hartford Courant today is reporting that the developers who want to swap forest land in Higganum for 17 acres the state owns near the Connecticut River in Haddam have hired a consultant to help them tell their side of the controversial plan. You can read the story here. The state will hold a public hearing on the proposal at 11 a.m. Monday in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
