Stolen Guns, Chainsaw, Leaf-Blower, X-Box and TV's, Vandalism, Keys Found, DUI and Failure to Appear in Court through 10-27-14

East Haddam & Moodus area police activity reports.

The East Haddam Police and the Connecticut State Police, Troop K in Colchester report the following incidents:


BURGLARY AND LARCENY
- On Oct. 14 at approximately 12:53 p.m., East Haddam Police received a report from a Palmer Martin Road, East Haddam resident that their home had been broken into, sometime after 10:15 a.m. A large safe containing handguns was taken from inside the home. Anyone with information that could help police with this investigation is asked to contact Officer Jeff Rhoades at 860-891-8200.

LOST & FOUND - On Oct. 15 at approximately 10:00 a.m., a set of keys were found at the intersection of Palmer Martin Road & Route 82. One of the keys has been described as belonging to a Kia vehicle. If these keys belong to you, please contact Officer Jeff Rhoades at 860-891-8200 to claim them.

LARCENY - On Oct. 15 at approximately 6:50 p.m., Craig LeMay, 56, of Taftbrook Road, East Dover, Vermont, turned himself in to Troop K, based on an active warrant and was arrested and charged with 3rd-Degree Larceny. LeMay was held on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on 10/16/14.
