Verizon Wireless recently enhanced fourth generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE)Β network coverageΒ along Routes 149, 151 and 609 in the Moodus Village area of East Haddam.Β Verizon Wireless first debuted its 4G LTE network in Connecticut inΒ June 2011.

Verizon Wireless completed $245 million in wireless network enhancements across New England in 2013, increasing the company's regional network investment to $3.6 billion since its inception in 2000.Β
