5 Injured — Including 2 Children — In Lyme Crash: Police
One of the vehicles caught fire, according to police. All five victims were brought to Yale New Haven Hospital.
LYME, CT — Five people were injured, including two children, during a weekend crash in Lyme, according to police.
The head-on collision involving two Nissans occurred around 9 a.m. Saturday on Route 156 near Bill Hill Road, police said, adding one of the vehicles caught fire.
The victims included a 12-year-old girl and a 60-year-old woman from Waterford who suffered serious injuries as well as a 9-year-old girl and a 58-year-old woman from Waterford with minor injuries, according to police. A 59-year-old woman from Ivoryton also suffered serious injuries, police said, adding all five victims were brought to Yale New Haven Hospital.
