Body Of Missing Swimmer Recovered In Connecticut River: CT DEEP
UPDATE: A body recovered from the Connecticut River has been identified as a missing swimmer.
LYME, CT — Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police said they have recovered the body of a man who went missing Sunday while swimming along the Connecticut River near the Hadlyme Ferry in Lyme.
According to a news release, the body was recovered Tuesday in Lyme. Following the recovery of the victim, the body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, police said.
Police said the individual has been positively as Edwin Andino, 42, of Meriden. The case is currently under investigation, police said.
