Cops: Man Walled Over Live Wires In Remodeling Job
Gerald Moseley, 43, of Uncasville, was unlicensed and dry-walled over live wires during an East Lyme bathroom remodel, police charge.

EAST LYME, CT — After Gerald Moseley finished the bathroom remodel job for an East Lyme homeowner, the town's building inspector found that the unlicensed contractor "abandoned" live wires and then installed a wall that covered them up. Police have charged Moseley, 43, with reckless endangerment.
Police said Moseley of 12 Pequot Road, Uncasville did have a home improvement license with the state but it expired in 2007.
On Dec. 10, police said the victim reported that Moseley started remodeling the bathroom but never completed the work. The East Lyme Building Official did an inspection and found live wires dry walled over. The building official told police "this was an extreme hazard."
