Kloe Kueker, his daughter and the campaign organizer, described him in the campaign as a “loving father, family man, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went.”
“He loved spending time with his family and cherished every moment he shared with the people he loved,” the campaign states. “Whether he was cooking a meal for those around him or attending a concert to enjoy live music, he found joy in life’s simple moments and creating memories with others.”
According to the family, money raised through the campaign will be used to cover funeral and memorial costs, and to help “relieve some of the financial burden during this difficult time.”
“Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support,” the campaign states. “We will forever miss our dad’s love, strength, and the joy he brought into our lives. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.”
Goose announced on its Facebook page that proceeds from sales of “Big Love” t-shirts on its webstore will go toward the GoFundMe established by the family.
The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said at 4 p.m. Tuesday Paul Kueker’s cause of death is “pending further studies.”
