Democratic Newcomer Drops Out of East Lyme Selectman Race
Democratic Town Committee-endorsed Debbie Jett-Harris dropped out of the race for First Selectman.

EAST LYME, CT—First-time political candidate Debbie Jett-Harris has dropped out of the race for first selectman, The Day reported. Jett-Harris, who was endorsed by the Democratic Town Committee to face off against First Selectman Mark Nickerson, left the race due to "health reasons," it was reported.
Jett-Harris, who had recently been appointed as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, announced in late July her run saying it was going to be a "fantastic race."
