EAST LYME, CT — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday afternoon. Police responded around 3 p.m. to Route 161 near Industrial Drive for a two-vehicle crash.
A vehicle traveling north attempted to turn left onto Industrial Drive when it was struck by a southbound vehicle, police said.
The southbound vehicle fled the scene. The offending vehicle was described as a white SUV, possibly a Ford with likely front end damage.
