The latest National Weather Service forecast for the coming week and 4th of July weekend calls for light rain and a chance of thunderstorms during the week and sunny days over the weekend.

Your Local NWS Forecast As of June 30
- Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 81. South wind 7 to 11 mph.
- Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
- Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7am and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 75. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Thursday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
