Motorcyclist Crashes On Gold Star, Flees On Back Of Other Bike

Police: Tyler D. Glendenning, 27, of East Lyme, crashed his motorcycle on the Gold Star Bridge and took off on the back of another bike.

GROTON, CT—The current charges against Tyler D. Glendenning do not yet appear on the state judiciary, but previous convictions do. Police say the 27-year-old from East Lyme was pitched from his motorcycle while traveling on I95 north over the Gold Star Bridge Sunday. After the crash, he got on the back of another motorcycle presumably driven by someone he knew, and left the scene leaving the bike on the side of the highway.

Police located him and cited him for leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.

Glendenning was arrested, convicted and sentenced to prison in 2014 for trafficking opioidoxycodone in 2013. At the time, police seized more than 700 oxycodone pills worth tens of thousands of dollars.
