Victim ID'd In Fatal East Lyme Stabbing, Suspect Arrested: Report
The victim was killed Monday night at an East Lyme motel.

EAST LYME, CT — Twenty-five-year-old East Lyme resident Corina Zukowski has been identified as the woman who was stabbed to death Monday night at the Starlight Inn in East Lyme, and a suspect has been arrested and charged with murder, writes The Day.
Arrested Tuesday afternoon at the motel was East Lyme resident Avery Hallbrooks, 28, who was held in lieu of bail of $1 million and was scheduled to be arraigned in New London Superior Court on Wednesday.
Hallbrooks and Zukowski reportedly had been dating, according to police. Officers were called to the motel at about 10:30 p.m. on a report of a disturbance and found Zukowski.

She was transported to an area hospital where she died. Additional details surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
