• Passenger train service returning to Torrington for first time since 1958 (wfsb.com) — Passenger train rides will run this summer between Thomaston Station and Torrington, giving Thomaston residents a new Sunday sightseeing option and a direct link to Torrington’s downtown attractions. The Naugatuck Railroad’s Litchfield County Clipper starts July 12, with $25 all-day tickets and the possibility of more trains if demand is strong.
