2nd Truck Fire In 2 Weeks Breaks Out On I-84 Stretch In Tolland
Emergency crews responded to the second truck fire in as many weeks on a stretch of I-84 In Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — A tractor-trailer caught on fire early Tuesday morning along a notorious, hilly stretch of Interstate-84 in Tolland, fire officials said.
It was the second truck fire in about two weeks in the area.
The latest took place at about 2 a.m. Tuesday on I-84 eastbound, just prior to Exit 69, fire officials said. When fire crews arrived, most of fire was extinguished by state police and it was contained to the "inside wheels" with no other damage, officials said.

Two lanes were initially blocked and the trailer was moved to the breakdown lane untill a service company arrived, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
