• State Police Investigation Underway In Tolland (patch.com) — State police and the Bureau of Special Investigations are working an active scene in Tolland, where Spring Mountain Road is closed between Route 74 and Elizabeth Lane. Authorities, joined by the state Department of Agriculture, say the situation is contained with no threat to the public, but they’re asking residents to avoid the area until the investigation and road closure are lifted.
