Good Afternoon, and a Happy first Friday of 2023 neighbors! From the Council Chair, providing a preview of our special and regular meetings to be held on January 10th.

First, the Town Council will convene for an Executive Session for the purposes of Union Negotiations.

The first new item of business is a consideration of a resolution to Establish a Road Salt Task Force. This Task Force will consist of two Town Council Members, the Town Manager, the town’s head of Administrative Services and the Town Attorney. They will work to review and disseminate information regarding the impact of road salt on residential well water.

The second new item of business is a consideration of a resolution approving a Recreation Coordinator Job Position. This 24-hour, part-time position was approved in the last town budget for fiscal year 2023 to further assist the head of the Recreation Department with the creation and management of programming as well as managing seasonal staff.
