This course is for youths 11 to 15 years of age and teaches the skills necessary to care for children of all ages in a variety of settings. The course focuses on safety and covers basic first aid with emphasis on prevention, and obstructed airway management for the conscious choking adult, child, and infant. The CPR for Family and Friends Student Workbook is used. Other topics include hand washing, diapering, feeding, fire and personal safety and many other topics. Bring lunch for daylong program, or snack. Books and course completion certificate included. Participants must complete entire course to obtain Babysitter Safety certification.
Course price includes student workbook and many handouts. Cost may vary depending on the sponsoring organization.
