At today's event, you will learn how to use layers of texture, color and collage in creating an art journal. We’ll spend our time creating a technique-a-palooza of backgrounds with color washes of acrylic paint and mica sprays, drawing, painting, resist, composition and design with stencils. We’ll create texture with modeling paste and other mediums. You will leave class with backgrounds for a multi-page art journal that you will love!
Please bring: Scissors, White gel pen, White or kneaded eraser, Wet Adhesive (Beacon 3-in-1 highly recommended), a large acrylic block (at least 4” wide and tall). Optional: Tweezers. — with Sally Lynn MacDonald.
