Eat Local : Grow Your Own Vegetables

Eat Local, Grow Your Own Vegetables:

Join us for an evening of garden talk. This program will teach you how and when to plant, soil  preparation, transplanting, and how to keep your vegetable garden healthy and bountiful, organically of course. This is for those with a garden plot as well as those who want to grow vegetables in containers. You will also have the hands on experience of transplanting seedlings into a container to take home. Sandy Jerbert, Master Gardener and Rondi Niles, Tolland County Master Gardener Coordinator and owner of Gardening Inspirations will be on hand to answer your questions. Tuesday, May 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Registration is required by calling the Tolland Public Library at 860-871-3620 or email Barbara at bbutler@tolland.org
