Free CPR Training Sessions

In recognition of February being Heart Month, Tolland Fire Department, Inc. will offer free CPR training sessions for Tolland residents on February 14, 2012. Pre-registration is required.

 

Three sessions will be offered on Tuesday, February 14th and are scheduled to start at the following times:

Session 1 - 10:00AM - 11:15AM

Session 2 - 12:00PM- 1:15PM


Session 3 - 6:00PM-7:15PM


Space in each session is limited and sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, residents should call 860-896-1894. All classes will be held at the Fire Department Training Center, 191 Merrow Road in Tolland.


The Town of Tolland has been designated as a HeartSafe Community by the Connecticut Department of Public Health because of its continuing efforts to provide CPR education and place Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public buildings. In order to maintain this designation the Tolland Fire Department, Inc. continues to solicit donations for the AED Fund. Money donated to the AED Fund is used to purchase and install AEDs and to support on-going training efforts. If you would like to make a contribution to the AED Fund, please make your check, payable to TFD, Inc-AED Fund, and mail to TFD, Inc-AED FUND, P.O. Box 827, Tolland, CT 06084.
