Family Fun at Tolland Library on Take Your Child to the Library Day

Children's programs on Saturday, February 4th, 2017

Saturday, February 4th, 2017 is Tolland Public Library's Annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! Families are invited to stop by to do a puzzle, read aloud, make a book mark - and of course, take out lots of books! Scheduled activities for the day include:

Hearts & Crafts: at 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Families with kids ages 3 and up are invited to stop by and create a valentine, bookmark, or heart craft for someone special! In Conference Room A. Sign up requested.

R.E.A.D. Dog Vinny from 10:30 - 12 p.m. Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to practice reading aloud to this wonderful therapy dog (children may be signed up for 15 minute blocks of time with the dog). In the Library Preschool Room.

Harold-ebration at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Families with children ages 2 to 8 are invited to his celebration of Crocket Johnson's Harold, of the Purple Crayon Fame. All Harold stories are featured, with a chalk art craft and a special give away to all participants! Sign up requested.
