Fire Truck, Middle School Track Part Of Tolland Council Hearing Agenda
Several capital purchases are being debated in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Town Council has scheduled a public hearing for July 12 to take comment on several capital projects.
The hybrid meeting is slated for 7 p.m. at both the Hicks Municipal Center and via Zoom.
The capital projects include:

- $750,000 for acquisition of a fire rescue truck
- $140,000 for resurfacing of track at Tolland Middle School
- $115,488 for acquisition of a lawn mower
- $191,878 for the construction of an ADA-compliant walkway at Cross Farms Recreation Center
The council would have to authorize the town officials to issue and sell its notes and bonds in an amount not to exceed $1,197,366 to pay for the items.
