Guglielmo's Leadership Role in State Senate Gets Even Larger
Guglielmo was sworn in fir his 13th term in the state Senate last week.

HARTFORD, CT – State Sen. Tony Guglielmo is taking on more of a leadership role after being sworn in for his 13th term in the 35th District last week.
Guglielmo is serving as the chief deputy Senate Republican majority leader for the current term in a chamber that is evenly split.
He is also serving as the co-chairman for both the Public Safety Committee and the Internship Committee, while continuing his membership on the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee.

With equal distribution of power in the Connecticut State Senate Sen. Guglielmo says he is looking forward to getting to work with his committee assignments.
“Yesterday was a special day for me, as my mother, Mary Guglielmo, was able to join me during the swearing in ceremony and opening day festivities,” said Sen. Tony Guglielmo. “With the new balance of power in the Senate – I am looking forward to working across the aisle to help get Connecticut back on track.”
