House Struck By Lightning In Tolland During Winter Storm
A Tolland home was damaged by lightning on Monday.

TOLLAND, CT — A house in Tolland was struck by lightning during Monday night's storm, fire officials said.
The call came in at about 9 p.m., according to fire officials. A house on Grant Hill Road had a "light smoke condition" and "significant damage," when firefighters arrived at the scene.
"Major wiring" burned and some basement windows were blown out as a result of the lightning strike, according to a fire officials.
