Lectra Execs To Visit Tolland To Tout Re-Opening Of Plant
The former Gerber facility in Tolland — now Lectra — will be making a splash in three sectors, executives said.

TOLLAND, CT — Executives from Paris-based Lectra are expected to be in Tolland next month to tout the re-opening of the company's manufacturing facility at 24 Industrial Park Road West.
That's the old Gerber facility.
The visit is slated for April 4. Lectra’s CEO, Daniel Harari, will be visiting Tolland for the first time since the 2021 acquisition of Gerber to commemorate "manufacturing being brought back to the U.S."

Harari will likely showcase the plant's role in assembling a "complete line of single ply cutters" for the aerospace, fashion and furniture sectors, company officials said.
In a preliminary statement, Harari said the new facility will help the company "better commit to customers" by "drastically cutting lead time by two-thirds."
