Lee and Lamont Realty Development of Vernon Donate to Tolland 300th Anniversary Celebration
Lee and Lamont Realty Development of Vernon becomes latest major donor to the celebration.

Lee & Lamont Realty Development of Vernon, which built many of the homes in Tolland in the 1970s and 1980s, has become the latest major donor to the Tolland 300th Anniversary Celebration, with its gift of $1,000.
The company at 40 West St. is the fourth “Crandall” level sponsor of the anniversary. Donors are listed on the anniversary website at www.tolland300.org.
Owners Richard Lee and Stephen Lamont said they made the gift because they are excited to share in the milestone of 300 years of Tolland history.
Lee & Lamont Realty began building homes and developing subdivisions in Tolland in the 1970s. The Natural Estates, The Sanctuary, Woodbridge
subdivision, Reed Hill and The Vineyards are just a few of the areas developed by the company. It is building another small subdivision this year.
With its partner, the Tolland Historical Society, the anniversary committee is planning many exciting events to mark the anniversary in 2015. They include a Charter Day celebration for schoolchildren on the Tolland Green on May 12th, a gala on May 16th and a large regional parade and townwide picnic, combined with the Celebrate Tolland festival, on Sept. 19th.
More donations are being sought from businesses and residents who want to be a part of the celebration. Opportunities include being a member of the “Tolland 300 Club” by making a $300 donation.
Checks should be made out to the Town of Tolland, with “300th anniversary committee” in the memo line. Donations can be mailed to the Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee, Town Hall, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084.
