TOLLAND, CT β€” A plethora of traffic on local trails during the coronavirus pandemic β€” and because of warmer weather β€” has led to an increase in dog-related incidents, both in terms of altercations and unscooped poop, authorities in Tolland said.

All dogs must be leashed on all municipal properties and on conservation trail systems, according to a post on the Tolland Animal Control facebook page.

Dog fights, dog bites and "aggression calls" are "already starting to become more prevalent for the season as we have more people out and enjoying walks," the post indicated.
