Municipal Elections 2019: The Top Of The Ticket In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — At the top of the ticket for Tolland's 2019 municipal election ballot is the traditional town council slate.

Voters can choose any five. Here is a look at the candidates:

Democrats:

• Sophia H. Shaikh
• Steven Jones
• Madhu Renduchintala
• Kenneth James Trice
• Brenda Falusi

Republicans:

• Robert L. Abbate Jr.
• Kurt Schenher
• Lou Luba
• John Regan
• Tammy Nuccio

Here are Tolland's polling places:

• District 1 and 3: Gymnasium at Tolland Recreation Center, 104 Old Post Road
• District 2: Tolland Senior Center, 674 Tolland Stage Road

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Those unable to appear at their polling place during all hours of voting can obtain an absentee ballot application.
