TOLLAND, CT — There is a new date for the removal of a massive tree that has been hanging over a road in Tolland for years. It's now Wednesday.

The pine tree sits on the side of a hill at the corner of Clarke and Loehr roads in the Route 31 corridor. A good portion of it hangs over Loehr Road.

The tree had originally been slated for removal Aug, 12, but a stretch of sketchy weather prompted a date change.
