Nuccio Wins Re-Election, But In A Revamped 53rd House District
It will be another term in Hartford for Tammy Nuccio.

VERNON/TOLLAND, CT — Republican Tammy Nuccio won re-election in the re-shaped 53rd state House of Representatives district Tuesday.
The tally across the district was 5,116 votes for Nuccio and 4,585 for Democrat Kenneth Trice.
Nuccio took her hometown of Tolland 3,953-2,565 and Willington 1,341-1,027. She then captured the part of Vernon that was added to the district as part of redistricting by the count of 1,127-1,051.

"I want to thank the residents of Tolland, Willington and Vernon for such a decisive win," Nuccio said. "I am honored to continue the work I've been doing for the last two years to bring forward the voices of the 53rd district to Hartford and I look forward to continuing to do so for the next two years. My door is always open and I'm here for any conversations you would like to have."
