Official Tolland Manager Hiring Delayed By 1 Council Meeting
The official hiring of a new town manager in Tolland has been moved forward a couple of weeks.

TOLLAND, CT — The official hiring of a new town manager in Tolland has been moved forward a couple of weeks.
It is now slated for thge Aug. 27 Town Council meeting.
After a year-long, national search the Tolland Town Council announced last week that Michael Rosen has been chosen and has accepted the offer to be the next Tolland town manager.

The Town Council had planned to officially approve Rosen's appointment and contract at the Aug. 13 meeting.
Rosen's tentative start date is Sept. 9, so an Aug. 27 approval would mantain the schedule.
Current Town Manager Steven Werbner previously announced his plan to retire this summer.
