Person Falls From Roof In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A person fell off the roof of a building on Doyle Road Sunday afternoon, fire officials said.

The incident took place at about 3 p.m.

LifeStar helicopter was initially called, but canceled.

One person was instead taken to an area trauma center by ambulance with what fire officials termed serious injuries.

Doyle Road was closed briefly.
