- "He was larger than life, yet close and comfortable enough to be instantly warm and lovable. He was down to earth and quick to laugh, yet he held himself to exceptionally high standards."
- "Scott achieved his goal in only a few years and our community is now served by his creation: Fenton River Veterinary Hospital."
- "Scott was an amazing vet! He was so smart and so caring. He was so down to earth and would always take the time to listen. He would sit on the counter holding and petting our puppy and explain the how and why for treatment. You always felt like you were talking to a long time friend because he had such a caring and friendly personality."
- "The pathway between our houses through the woods helped secure wonderful friendships and delightful memories."
- Scott was one if a kind! He was this big funny, huggable man with the biggest smile and one heck if a sense of humor. He was also the most selfless, giving, caring , kind and empathetic person you would ever meet.
