Sami Khan Endorses Chris Moran

Town Council Endorsement

For Chris Moran

I write to strongly endorse Chris Moran for Tolland Town Council. I have gotten to know Chris over the past few years given his involvement in the community and the Democratic Town Committee. Having spent the last two years serving on the Town Council, I believe that Chris possesses the skills, dedication, and work ethic that would make him a fantastic addition to the Council.

Being a councilor requires someone that will think critically about the decisions that come before the Council to ensure that any action taken is in the best interests of the town and all its residents. Chris's experience as an attorney will undoubtedly prove invaluable in this regard. His legal experience will also help him to work collaboratively with all Town Council members regardless of political affiliation. Most Tolland residents want their elected leaders to put aside partisanship and work with each other for the good of the town and all who live in it. Chris will do just that.

As a small business owner, I know how important it is to have members of the Town Council who understand the struggles and realities facing many small business owners. Policies and an environment conducive to business growth help not only the small business owners but also the whole community by easing the tax burden on residents. Chris will be a voice for small business owners and will be sure that they are considered along with all the amazing town residents. Chris will also strive to attract new, appropriately zoned, businesses to town.

Chris is a hard worker who is dedicated to improving the lives of all Tolland residents. Chris will ensure that Tolland families and seniors want to, and are able to, remain living in Tolland. He also has a vision for continuing to attract new residents and businesses to town. I am excited to endorse Chris Moran for Tolland Town Council. I hope you will join me in voting for him, Row A, on Tuesday, November 7th.

Sincerely,

Sami Khan
