Sen. Guglielmo Gets Perfect Score in Environmental Ratings

He receives praise for his work with passing laws to protect open space and state parks.

Citing his leadership in helping to pass laws to protect open space, state parks and Long Island Sound, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) named state Sen. Tony Guglielmo (R-Stafford) a Legislative Leader in its 2015 Environmental Scorecard.

An annual report by the CTLCV, the Environmental Scorecard rates legislators based on their voting record for key pieces of legislation.

“Every legislator in our team of champions played a role in passage of key environmental bills this session,” said Lori Brown, CTLCV Executive Director. “Many also worked tirelessly behind the scenes to block bills that would roll back our environmental protections.”
