State Police Raid Shark Cycle In Stafford

The investigation centered around potential fraud, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT - State police said they are investigating a local motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle and snowmobile dealership for "possible fraudulent activity."

State police said they executed a search and seizure warrant Wednesday at Shark Cycle, 11 Willington Avenue. They did not elaborate on what may have been confiscated or what type of fraud they were investigating.

They did say the investigation remains ongoing and that the resident state trooper's office took the lead role in the raid. The State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit, the State Police Auto Theft Unit, and Troopers from the Troop C barracks in Tolland assisted with the search warrant.
