State Police: Toddler Flown to Hospital After Near-Drowning in Ashford
State Police and medical personnel rushed to the scene.

ASHFORD, CT — A toddler was air-lifted to Connecticut Children's Medical Center on Monday after what state police described as a "near-drowning" incident.
The call came into the state police Troop C barracks at 14:43 p.m. and troopers and medical units rushed to Campert Lane. A 3-year-old had nearly drowned, state police said.
The child was transported to CCMC via Life Star as precaution, state police said.
