State Police Treat Heroin Overdose Victim in Troop C Lobby

State Police treated a heroin overdose victim at their Troop C barracks late last week.

TOLLAND, CT — State police on Friday had to administer Narcan to a woman who had overdosed on heroin and came into the lobby of the Troop C barracks for help on Friday, a report shows.

The incident took place at 9:44 a.m. and state police had to close off the lobby to visitors for about 20 minutes because the woman was slumped against a wall near the dispatch window.

According to a report, a 39-year-old woman from Tolland drove herself to Troop C, located at 1320 Tolland Stage Road. She entered the lobby, picked up the phone, and told a dispatcher she thought she was "overdosing," according to a report.
