Surveillance Image Released In Troop K And Tolland Fake ID Incident
An ID stolen in the Troop K area was used at a bank in Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — State police from the Troop K barracks have released a surveillance image of a suspect they say stole an ID in their territory and then tried to use it at a bank in Tolland.
The case dates back to Nov. 21, when, at approximately 1:05 p.m., a woman entered the KeyBank branch on Merrow Road in Tolland and attempted to cash a check using identification that had recently been stolen from someone in the Troop K jurisdiction, state police said.
The transaction was denied, and the suspect left without incident, state police said.

The woman is being described by state police as a white female, approximately 40–to-50 years old, about 5-foot-8 tall, with a "medium build."
She last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt," state police said.

The surveillance image was recently obtained through "ongoing investigative efforts," and the investigation remains active, state police said.
