Tolland Alters Delinquent Property Tax Policy
The former policy of three missed payments and a $10,000 minimum debt has been changed.

The Tolland Town Council voted Tuesday to alter its policy concerning delinquent real estate taxes, the Journal Inquirer reported.
Under the current policy, a property is not considered tax-delinquent until the owner has missed at least three payments and owe a minimum of $10,000.

A unanimous vote passed the policy change; one council member was absent.
