Town Council

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.

Deteriorating concrete is impacting our homes, businesses, and municipal buildings. We have made great strides in assisting home owners and Birch Grove. However, there are still holes to be filled. We absolutely have to work with our state and federal representatives to ensure there is enough funding and support for program that help make our communities whole again.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?

While we all recognize there are many challenges facing our town, other candidates will only point to the issues without offering plans and solutions for our future. Our team will listen and lead I. Creating a strategic plan that not only conquers our challenges but celebrates our town. We will protect our investments and help ensure we save money over the years to come. We have proven that when our community bands together, there is nothing we cannot overcome.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Contaminated wells are another issue we need quick solutions for. There are a few factors that can contribute to well contamination, we need to look for the right solution for each home owner. Safe water is a right we need to protect.

We also need to protect the investments we have made in our community, ensuring We spend our limited budget wisely and in the areas that are most important to our community.
With a housing market that is primarily single family detached homes, we need to ensure our town stays marketable for new families, but also that we look for ways to diversify our housing stock for young professionals and seniors.

Another issue is to partner with our businesses, helping them succeed and expand while being a welcoming community to new investments in town. One of many ways to do this is opening markets in Ag Tourism, Agriculture, UConn families and students that commute through Tolland and other endeavors to capture consumers who drive through our town.
