None.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.

Crumbling Foundations and the emotional and financial stress it places on families, neighbors and municipalities. We would continue working with CRCOG, state, and federal representatives to provide viable support that puts people and their lives back together.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?

To always listen and ask you how, as oppose to why. To build relationships that enhances teamwork that will seek compromise and solutions for challenges. And the belief that people are people no matter where you meet them. They want to be heard, because they matter.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

We have a great team of candidates who understand the services important to our neighbors. We know that our school system is one of several reasons many select Tolland to reside in. Others admire the rural character, which is key to maintain. Agreeable economic growth and wise financial management with a strategic plan we feel is crucial to addressing the challenges we face as neighbors.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As a former chairman of several operation committees, on a national level in the financial sector, bringing together large and small financial institutions towards a common set of goals, is let’s say interesting. A result of that leadership with other great contributors is when you take an image of a check on your phone. Or when you deposit a check into an ATM.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

A great boss one said to me “Ken, a little knowledge is worse than no knowledge at all. And at times it can be the most dangerous thing in the world”.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your
positions?

Working with 4-H and the young folks who are part of the program to improve their presentation and speaking skills is always a great joy! And it’s fun! As for the challenges facing us in Tolland, well collectively as a team, we can figure this out! We Can Do This.
