The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Besides taxes, education and the direction for the town, and the climate divisiveness has unfortunately leaked into our community. I want to bring a sense of civility. And because we disagree does not make you my enemy. We have to relearn this art. It is the only to get things done as a Team.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I believe that as elected officials we are on Stage. And how we speak, write, post and respond reflects our character. Attributes such as integrity, and honor and civility are becoming obsolete. The era of ‘anything goes’ cannot be sustainable as a society. We are better than this! And we have to be better for the generation following us.

Accomplishments:

I’ve been a major bank operations manager for most of my career. You develop great people skills in such a role! Plus and I was blessed with great mentors to fine tune my people skills. I owe a lot to them. I’m addition I have been involved with 4-H for well over 10 years which gives me a great perspective of working with young folks.

Other issues:

I will listen to understand and not just to reply. I believe in We. Community. Team. I want my neighbors to say We did this and not I. And though I see a ‘9’ and you see a ‘6’ and we both can agree the image is a number. How we determined the value is where we compromise. I believe in compromise. It is something we do every day.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I will always the right thing. I will always listen. Because I can learn from your perspective. I believe in Team, community, us.

Oh, I love to ride my motorcycle, and photography and teaching young folks public speaking and presentation skills.
