The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The most pressing issue facing Tolland is recovering from the effects of the pandemic. As a Board of Education member and I will support our students and staff with the resources needed for them to continue to be successful.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I am not afraid to stand up and advocate for the needs of the Tolland Public Schools. I have built relationships that allow me to understand issues that might not otherwise be brought for discussion and resolution. I have a unique perspective as a former Republican that has served under Democratic and Republican leadership.
Accomplishments:
I have four years of experience on the Board of Education. I was a member of many committees and Chaired Negotiations and Policy. I am an active volunteer with Tolland Elementary PTO and running several fundraisers and taking a position on the Executive Board this year. I am involved in the schools and have proven my committment to service in my community.
Other issues:
Supporting the scoial-emotional development of our students. Listening to our experts for the benefit of Tolland Public Schools. Fostering a fair and equitable educational experience.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I have a proven record of showing up and doing the work.
