The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

I wish I could narrow it down to one. Tolland has made positive movement in the last four years. We've passed responsible budgets that have taken into consideration factual data and supported key initiatives and services while keeping low mill rate increases. We've created new committees and task forces based on constituent feedback and have moved forward with new programing and resources based on town needs. We've responsibly balanced wants with needs and are continuing to work on several new initiatives to make Tolland more affordable for all residents. There is so much to do still and which is why I've come back for another terms. There are important deliverables I'd like to see to fruition for the town.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Experience. Proven results. A track record of making decisions with all of Tolland in mind and not being super focused on one area. I am factual and don't make emotional decisions. I listen to everyone who has an opinion and then look for the best option.

Accomplishments:

I have had four years on the town council. My accomplishments include helping to create a Commission on People with Disabilities, a Taskforce on Mental Health and Substance Use, improving the budget process for residents to understand where their dollars are being spent, an advocate for our senior population and reviewing programing to help them stay in their homes and in town, and worked to help create more community involvement and community events and several other goals.

Other issues:

The republican platform is strong on results. With the exception of 2 new comers all incumbents are returning to continue the work they're currently doing. Two years is sometimes not enough time to get everything done. We ask for your support in seeing our goals to completion. We promise and we will not let you down.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

In the next two years there are many initiatives that need to be reviewed including how to spend the ARP funds from the government for the town. We have a new town manager to hire and a continued commitment to our new commissions and task forces and a climate that needs stability and support. I hope to be chosen to continue the work we've started and see these great initiatives through to fruition.
